Astrological NATAL Chart
The path which the sun follows each year is divided into 12 sections, each of 30 degrees, which have been held since the Babylonian era to embody cosmic functions.
In a general way it may be said that the position of sun, moon and planets in the sun signs determines the character of the individual while the placing in relationship to the angles and in the houses determines his destiny, his circumstances and relationships; the uses to which he will put the character he has been given.
The astrological thesis claims that a person is predictably affected by being born, say, with Mars in Taurus. In addition, his character will be different if he is born at a certain time, with Mars in the sixth house, or an hour later, with Mars in the seventh house. Further modifications take place as a result of the relative position of the planets-the angles at which they stand in relationship to each other-at the time of birth.
These relative positions are known as aspects, which, with their name and supposed effect, are shown in the table below:

This means, for example, that Mars in conjunction to Venus in Taurus, in square to Saturn in Leo, from the seventh to the tenth house, will mean something quite different to the astrologer from Mars conjunction Venus in Virgo, in trifle to Saturn in Capricorn, from the first to the fifth house.
